The way the Amazon Book Ranking works is interesting. The ranking changes dynamically based on number of books on Amazon and the number of sales within a given period of time against the other books sold within a given category. So, needless to say, a book can go from #1 to #300,000 in short order. Everyone has been providing a lot of positive feedback and keeping the book in high ranking on the Amazon Network & Disaster Recovery Administration, Computer Science, and Computer Security & Encryption Categories.
With that said, the book may not be for everyone. The book was written to help provide a map or guide (hence the name handbook) to navigate the Cybersecurity Architect's role and the technologies involved. The book is not meant to be a single source of information on all things certifications, technologies or requirements across the world. A book of that undertaking would be multiple volumes in size and would be outdated as soon as it was published. I also noted this within the book. In addition, this is the first edition of this book, which has been as much a learning experience for me as those that read the book. So wherever there is an editing issue, please speak up. Future editions will have updated content and corrections as technologies, requirements and errors are changed/corrected. Sometimes it is hard to see the forest through the trees.
Additionally, the goal of this book was to inspire those within technology or those new to technology that cybersecurity is a challenge worth undertaking and help provide various pathways (but certainly not all) to become a cybersecurity architect.
With all of this, the book is continuing to maintain popularity and relevance to those who get it and read it...
